The Frugal Gambler – Jean Scott

If you thought gambling was all about losing money, getting in to debt and causing problems in all other areas of your life before leading to a dangerous addiction, think again. Whilst yes, these things can and do happen, with Jean Scott you can learn how to be a safe, low spending gambler, making big wins all the time.

Synopsis

Jean Scott is infamous for being a low roller. She receives a multitude of gifts and experiences of the highest quality- all for absolutely free! Things such as lavish gifts she can give to family and friends, staying in hotels for up to 120 nights a year, flying across the globe for free, eating and drinking for free in a variety of restaurants and participating in video poker for a complete profit!

If this sounds like the kind of lifestyle you are craving, ‘The Frugal Gambler’ is a book you need to get your paws on. The book acts as your guide to gambling and is filled with Scott’s secrets of the casino world.

The book demonstrates to its readers how you don’t need to be particularly rich, successful or clever in order to gain what you want from a casino. Jean Scott herself was a simple retired school teacher from the quiet English country side before she gained her title as “Queen of Comp’s”. Now, she lives a luxurious lifestyle for next to nothing, if not for free, and barely has to touch the pension she saved for so long! All whilst having a good time too.

Reception

Whilst some of Scott’s methods have had a bit of a love/hate relationship with readers and do come across a little unorthodox, they all do work and have been her own key to success. It hasn’t been a glamorous way to the top, and she is plainly honest about this all the way through her book, making this an easy read for anyway because almost everyone can relate to her; she is totally ordinary. Her book has been described as ground breaking- and it is! It has shown a new side to casino’s and gambling, a vulnerable side that any one ordinary can attack and take advantage of. Her book, whilst published in 1998, is ever relevant today. It changed the world of gambling and had a huge impact on the way ordinary people bet their money and make big wins. If you want to know the key to breaking Vegas, Atlantic City or Monet Carlo, then this is the book you need.
